Well, one thing led to another, and I was soon a part of the band, doing a feature Blues Brothers routine, and all sorts of other stuff.  Musical Director of the band was John Montesante.   John taught me just about everything I know about the music business, but more importantly, he became part of my extended family.

There comes a time when fledglings must leave the nest, and some time around 1993,  I came across Amanda Beech.   She had a voice that would put Cher to shame.   We teamed up to form Heart 'n' Soul and became one of the most popular duos on the Melbourne circuit. 

 Of course, as people do, Amanda up and got herself married, leaving me to fend for myself. (Now who was going to bring Apple Strudel to rehearsal?)   I then teamed up with Liz Nash. 

Around 1997, I started travelling all over Australia combining radio, TV, film, music and comedy stuff, and putting it all under the umbrella of a being an entertainer.
